Scotland managed a super start to their new Centenary Shield campaign with a stunning 6-2 defeat of England at Cappielow Park, Greenock this afternoon. It was a very open game with Scots centre foreward Cameron Keay causing all sorts of havoc for the English defenders. Scoring in the 6th and 11th minutes he saw Scotland away to a flying start until England pagged one back in a fantastic 30 yard finish from George Lycett but in the 40th minute Keay struck again to complete his first half hat-trick and restore the two goal difference. Scotland scored their 4th through half time sub, Jack Allen, before Liam Higgins pulled one back for the visitors. Scotland managed to secure two more through Torran Lambie and, who else, Cameron Keay to complete the scoring. A very promising stert for the Scots!
